  • 1. How do I get started?

    Contact our office to see if Cannabis medication is right for you. We visit for 1-2 hours to discuss your symptoms and goals for treatment and what to expect with treatment. After we decide what medication is best for you, you contact the dispensary of your choice and let them know there is a prescription in the State registry placed in your name.

  • 2. What is the cost to receive a visit and become certified for medical cannabis?

    We accept credit cards, checks and most other payment methods.

    • Screening to see if you qualify for medical cannabis is free
    • First intake and certification visit is $200.00.
    • Recertification in 6 months is $200.00.
  • 3. Do you accept insurance?

    No. But we may provide you with what is called a super bill to present to the insurance company.

  • 4. Can I legally be prescribed medical cannabis in Texas?

    Yes!

    You may receive a prescription for medical cannabis in the state of Texas. Through a physician registered with the States Compassionate Use Program you can receive a prescription of medical cannabis with THC.

    You must be diagnosed with one of the many conditions approved for cannabis treatment through the state's Compassionate Use Program. Which include but not limited to PTSD, Cancer related symptoms, chronic neurodegenerative conditions and muscle spasms or contractures.

  • 5. Do I receive a medical marijuana card?

    No.

    You must first visit with a registered physician, decide what the best treatment may be for your condition. The physician will register you into the Compassionate Use Program with the recommended treatment prescription plan and your required information. You then contact one of the dispensaries registered with the Compassionate Use Program and they will arrange for you to receive your medication.

  • 6. Why not purchase CBD products from stores or on-line?

    The CBD and THC and terpene contain products provided through the dispensaries approved by the states Compassionate Use Program are of the highest quality and purity. Some prescriptions may also be provided with terpenes that are not available through most vendors. The products allowed to be distributed through the dispensaries are tested for quality assurance. The concentration and measurements for therapy dosing of the products are also regulated through the State Compassionate Use Program.

    The CBD products sold over the counter have resulted in some studies to be up to 70% not representative of the ingredients claimed on label. Another concern for non regulated products of CBD and THC are the possible byproducts absorbed during cultivation of the hemp plant. Some of the byproducts may be toxic.

  • 7. How do I get my medication refilled or what if I need some modification on my prescription?

    There is no additional cost to obtain a refill or a consult to modify your medication according to new needs or medical conditions.

  • 8. Can I travel with my Cannabis medication?

    We DO NOT recommend that you travel with Cannabis products across state lines or to other countries. as it continues to not be accepted legally at the federal level to be used for medication.

  • 9. Can I suffer legal trouble in Texas if caught with my Cannabis medication?

    No state, county or city authority in Texas can legally prosecute you for carrying prescribed Cannabis products approved by the Texas Compassionate use Program.
